Third-Party Services

Woffie uses the following third-party services:

Google Fonts API: When you search for and download fonts, requests are made to the Google Fonts API. Your font search queries are sent directly to Google Fonts.
JSZip: We use this JavaScript library to create ZIP files for download. This processing happens entirely in your browser.

Font Licensing

Woffie provides access to Google Fonts, which are subject to their own licensing terms. Most Google Fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Apache License, or Ubuntu Font License, which generally allow for both commercial and non-commercial use.

When you download fonts using Woffie:

You are responsible for complying with the license terms of each font you download
We include license information in the downloaded packages to help you understand the terms
Some fonts may require attribution - please review each font's specific license

Data Security

Woffie operates entirely in your browser. No font data or search queries are stored on our servers. The only data stored is in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings or by using the "Clear All" button in the Recent Fonts section.
